Jewellery should be cleaned regularly. This can be done using a soft toothbrush with soapy water. For silver pieces which are textured, use silver dip, avoiding contact the gemstone with the dip, or for smooth pieces, use a jewellery cloth. Cleaning with chemicals is not recommended on gold jewellery, or on oxidised silver jewellery.
Jewellery is delicate, so avoid wearing your jewellery when showering or bathing, when applying beauty and hair products, when washing up, swimming, gardening, or during any other activity when the jewellery may come into contact with chemicals or become otherwise damaged. When not being worn, store the jewellery safely in the original packaging supplied with the item. Store the jewellery away from heat and humidity.
